Terms and Conditions

General terms and conditions (rental terms) for direct bookings of our holiday accommodation via landauszeit.com.

1. Scope and landlord

These terms and conditions apply to bookings made directly via landauszeit.com. The landlord is Green4Energy, owner André Mombauer, Im Dorfe 6, 27446 Selsingen, Germany, phone +41 78 446 07 44, email info@landauszeit.com. For bookings via Booking.com or Airbnb, the booking, payment and cancellation terms of the respective platform apply first.

2. Accommodation

The holiday apartment “Family”, Im Dorfe 8, 27446 Selsingen, approx. 85 m² on the upper floor, for up to 4 persons. The apartment is let exclusively for holiday and accommodation purposes.

3. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation of the accommodation on our website is not yet a binding offer. You book via the booking form of our booking system Beds24: choose the dates and number of guests, enter your details and check them before submitting. Until then you can correct input errors at any time using the input fields or the back button. By clicking the button “Kostenpflichtig buchen” / “Book with obligation to pay” you submit a binding booking; you then pay the full amount via Stripe. The contract is concluded once the payment has gone through and we have confirmed the booking by email.

The contract languages are German and English. We store the contract text with your booking data and send you the booking confirmation by email. You can access, print or save these terms and conditions on this page at any time.

There is no statutory right of withdrawal when booking accommodation for a specific period (Section 312g (2) no. 9 German Civil Code, BGB).

4. Prices and payment

All prices include statutory VAT, final cleaning, bed linen and towels. The base price applies to two persons; additional guests are charged according to the prices shown when booking. The full amount is payable in advance when booking, by card via our payment provider Stripe. No security deposit is required.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel free of charge up to 1 day before arrival; we will refund the full amount to the payment method used. For later cancellations, no-shows or early departure, the agreed price remains payable; we credit and refund any expenses saved and any income from re-letting the period. You are entitled to prove that we incurred no loss or a lower loss. Please send your cancellation by email or phone.

6. Arrival and departure

Check-in from 5:00 pm, check-out until 11:00 am. Other times are possible on request. Your personal access code for the key box is sent on the day of arrival.

7. Occupancy and visitors

Only the persons registered with the booking may stay overnight, up to a maximum of 4 persons. Day visitors are welcome. Additional overnight guests require prior agreement and are charged extra.

8. Pets

Pets are generally welcome, but only on request and with our prior consent.

9. House rules

The apartment is non-smoking; smoking is only permitted outdoors. Quiet hours apply from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. Parties and events are not permitted. Please treat the apartment and its furnishings with care and leave it tidy.

10. Liability

Guests are liable for damage culpably caused by them or their fellow travellers and report damage without delay. If a key or access code is lost or misused, replacement costs may arise. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; otherwise only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.

11. Unavailability of the accommodation

If the accommodation cannot be provided for reasons beyond our control (e.g. water damage), we will inform you without delay and refund any amounts already paid in full.

12. Tourist tax

No overnight tax or tourist tax is currently levied in Selsingen. Should such a tax be introduced, it will be charged in accordance with the statutory provisions.

13. Final provisions

German law applies. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you have your habitual residence. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be invalid, the remainder of the contract remains effective.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
